CANON 550D REVIEW
ONE THING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE CANON 550d
First and most importantly, this camera takes awesome photos, all the other great features are just a bonus and I will try to cover them all in this Canon 550d Review!
The Canon EOS 550d is the same model as the Canon Rebel T2i, the t2i is the European version.
WHY THE CANON 550D IS THE PERFECT CAMERA FOR YOU
Any photo shop expert will tell you that the type of camera you buy is dependent of the type of photo or the type of subject matter you are trying to shoot.
If your not sure about whether you want to take action shots, portraits, landscape, or are just beginning your journey into digital SLR photography, then the Canon 550d is perfect for you.
The 550d has all the features that much more expensive SLR’s but considering value and price, the Canon 550d tops them all.
OVERALL IMPRESSIONS
The camera is very small and light, it has more megapixels than you could possibly need, It features a 3-inch LCD, which has a very high resolution. It looks great! Auto-focus is fast, and low light performance is excellent
IMAGE QUALITY: 18 megapixels allows for great, crisp clear photos and auto focus is fast and accurate.
LCD MONITOR: The monitor on the Canon 550d is awesome! It has a 3:2 aspect ratio and is 3″ wide. It has 1.04 million dots, which means it is very, very sharp.
VIDEO: The Video function is not necessarily the best if creating video is your main aim, but it is good enough if you are not wanting to have to carry around a camera and camcorder.
If you find yourself in situations where photos couldn’t capture the moment as well as a video could, then the ability to record clips is very convenient and still of reasonable quality, but admittedly this is not a movie camera.
